Philadelphia Man Sentenced In South Jersey Stabbing: Prosecutor

A 54-year-old Philadelphia man has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey state prison in connection with a stabbing, authorities said.

James Dunlap was on Friday, Feb. 18 by Camden County Superior Court Judge Edward J. McBride, Jr., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay

Dunlap was convicted of aggravated assault for repeatedly stabbing a Cherry Hill man who was visiting his girlfriend in Woodlynne in January 2020, MacAulay said. 

Dunlap must serve 85% of his sentence before he will be eligible for parole.

Assistant Prosecutor Sonja Furlow handled the case for the State.
